Man I drove to Mississippi today to pick an oem front bumper. I asked the guy several timeson the phone if it was a Certifit or a replacement bumper. He assured me that it was an original bumper. I drove all the way out there for a Certifit bumper! He wanted $75 for it. I kindly refused stating a brand new Certifit costs $40. Oh well, guess I just need to spend the money and order it from Honda.

I received my strut bar in the mail today. I have to say this is the worst packaged item I have ever seen.
![]() It has some scratches and dings that I want to polish out. I started with 320 wet and rubbed, and rubbed , and rubbed. I went outside and tried some paint stripper...nothing. Tommorow I will try some oven cleaner. It must have an anodized clear coating. I dont own a teggy so no R for me. ![]() ![]() I was thinking of purchasing the rear ITR bar to match, but I am not paying $350 for it. Thats crazy. Have a great day!-Casey |

I was right about the ITR strut bar. It was clear anodized. Broke out the Heavy duty oven cleaner, let it sit in the sun and it came bubling off. I prepped and Herculined under my wiper cowl and my gas cap cover and hole. I also painted my wipers too.
![]() ![]() Having fun with the Makita and wire wheel- ![]() I will post pics of the rest later. Have a great day!-Casey |
